'CHANGE IS TRADITION'

As the school gates reopen, Waterloo Road star Rachel Leskovac tells us what's in store as Jason Manford joins the cast

It’s a new term for the students and teachers of Waterloo Road High School and a lot has changed. The school now has academy status and a new shiny school building, plus with the departure of Kim Campbell, there’s a new headteacher in town.

Embracing the change is returning cast member Rachel Leskovac – the former Coronation Street star who plays English teacher Coral Walker in the school drama.

“Waterloo Road is the best telly job I’ve ever had,” reveals Rachel. “It’s amazing to be able to delve deeper into a character, especially one like Coral who’s been on such a journey. I’m so lucky to be a part of the show.”
