Divorce, splitting up, conscious uncoupling – call it what you will, it’s rarely easy. With an estimated 42% of marriages in the UK now no longer going the distance, many of us will experience the turmoil of a failed marriage.

But while some couples experience a painful break-up, others seem to switch from marrieds to mates smoother than a spoonful of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Sammie!
