Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams is thrilled by the effect the show is having on his “shredded” body and can’t wait to flaunt it on the dance floor.
The Bad Education actor has been taunting his dance partner Nikita Kuzmin with his rippling abs and says he’s never looked better – even if rehearsals leave him shattered.
“My body’s actually not too bad at the moment,” says Layton, 29. “I’m tired but my body’s cute! My body is snatched actually – shredded!”
According to Nikita, Layton can’t keep his shirt on. “He’s showing me his abs every single day,” laughs Nikita.
The pair are looking forward to showing off their torsos, if Strictly’s legendary wardrobe department can make them skimpy costumes and the lighting department find a flattering filter.
“I’m going to put you to shame,” Layton jokes to Nikita. “Competition’s on! As soon as they get the right lighting, you are going to see all about it.”
Layton’s growing body confidence has also boosted his mood, giving him a buzz. “When you feel happy and healthy inside, it gives you that little glow, and sweating it out, it’s endorphins, isn’t it?” he says. “It feels good to just have mind, body and soul in check.”
