Wedding bells could soon be ringing for Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and his girlfriend Holly Ramsay, after a source claimed they have been given the seal of approval by Holly’s famous TV chef dad, Gordon Ramsay.
Hell’s Kitchen star Gordon is reportedly ready to give Adam his blessing if he proposes to his daughter, with our source telling us the chef thinks Adam would make the “perfect” son-in-law.
The sportsman and former Strictly star was overcome with emotion when he won the silver medal for Team GB in the 100m breaststroke at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and was cheered on from the sidelines by Holly and his three-year-old son, George.
Tearful Adam gave Holly a huge kiss after his win, before taking to social media to declare that Holly had been “the best partner” to support his Olympic training, as he gushed about their “exciting future together”.
Holly has helped build Adam back up after a tough few years which saw him battle alcoholism and depression.
The 2024 Olympics have seen him make a successful return to swimming after he took a step back from the sport for his mental health.
In 2022, he suffered a devastating blow after breaking his foot, and in the same year, struggled with the breakdown of his relationship with artist Eirianedd Munro, with whom he shares his son, George.
