Georgia Taylor has had a busy few months tackling her Corrie character Toyah’s never-ending dramas.
So, it must come as a relief that there are happier times ahead as Toyah falls back into bed with first love Spider, played by Martin Hancock.
However, Georgia – who first played the youngest of the rough and ready Battersby clan in 1997 – has been in soap too long to think the good times will last.
“Personally, I feel this is too soon for Toyah,” says the 42-year-old, who has been in a relationship with actor Mark Letheren, 51, since 2008.
“But she is really lonely, she’s grieving and she has a murder trial hanging over her – I can’t even begin to imagine that!”
