Lottie Tomlinson sounds excited, and it’s not difficult to see why. The influencer and sister of former One Direction star Louis is preparing to welcome her second child — a baby girl with fiancé Lewis Burton. As we sit down for our interview with the make-up-artist, she is positively glowing. “I’m just... pregnant. Busy, tired and very pregnant!” sighs Lottie with a giggle, when we ask how she’s doing.
It’s no surprise she’s feeling the exhaustion, alongside the anticipation. The 26-year-old, who is an ambassador for fashion brand Red Run, is balancing work and being a mum to her son Lucky, two, while preparing for their new arrival in just three months’ time.
“My pregnancy has definitely been a different experience because I’ve got a very active two-year-old this time,” explains Lottie. “I think the first time I really took being able to rest and prepare for the baby for granted. But this time around, it has felt so much quicker.”
Admitting that her “smooth pregnancy has flown by" Lottie is clearly feeling more relaxed about parenthood this time around. "It's nice because you've got the knowledge that you've learnt the first time around, so I know exactly what I need. It's a different kind of experience when you've got a two-year-old to chase around while also trying to grow another one!"
Having two kids under three means Lottie will have her hands full, but she can't hide her joy at the prospect of adding a little girl to the family. And Lewis, 32, is hoping he'll have someone on his side when they become a family of four, as Lottie describes Lucky as SH a "mummy's boy".
"Lewis is really excited HA and looking forward to being Na girl dad because Lucky is a mummy's boy. So, he's SH hoping that this one will be BAYI a daddy's girl. But as Lucky HAR has gotten older, he's really bonded loads with Lewis. We're both just excited to be a family of four. We can't wait," beams Lottie.
