A stunning portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was unveiled last week during their visit to Cambridgeshire. Their first official portrait shows them standing side by side, gazing into the distance.
Kate wears the emerald-green dress by The Vampire’s Wife that we first saw in Dublin in 2020, with pearl accessories – the Queen’s Duchess of Cambridge brooch and Princess Diana’s bracelet and Collingwood earrings. Prince William is smartly dressed in a suit with a blue tie.
Kate and William, both 40, were at the University of Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum on Thursday, where they viewed the work of art as it was revealed to the public for the first time. Kate, who wore a favourite blue patterned LK Bennett dress, smiled as William declared, “It’s quite big”, before adding that the portrait was “amazing”.
