WITH NO WOMEN NOMINATED FOR BEST ARTIST AT THE BRITS, HARRY STYLES DEDICATES HIS WIN TO HIS OWN TOP FIVE
PRIZE GUY ALL RISE FOR KING HARRY

On a night of inflatable trousers, hosting gaffes and burgeoning bromances, Harry Styles was officially crowned Britain’s biggest pop star, cleaning up with four gongs as the Brit Awards returned with its first ever Saturday slot in broadcasting history.

After his success at the Grammys a week earlier, the 29-year-old’s quartet of prizes were for Artist Of The Year, Best Pop Act, Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year for his dazzling show opener As It Was. With no women nominated in the controversial Artist Of The Year category, which was created last year in place of separate male and female categories, Harry dedicated the prize to the singers he felt had been overlooked.

“I’m very aware of my privilege up here tonight, so this award is for Rina [Sawayama], Charli [XCX], Florence [Welch], Mabel and Becky [Hill]. Thank you so much.”

‘HARRY WAS ABSOLUTELY CHARMING BACKSTAGE’

Harry was handed his final win of the night, the coveted Album Of The Year statue, by actor Stanley Tucci. “There’s literally no one I love more in the world than Stanley Tucci so this means so much,” he said. And their bromance was just as evident behind the scenes, with our source witnessing the former One Direction singer heading to his private backstage area, where he was joined by Stanley, 62, for a celebration.
