BRUCE & EMMA: Trying to Find the Joy

BRUCE WILLIS' WIFE, EMMA HEMING, IS OPENING UP ABOUT HOW THE BELOVED ACTOR IS FARING AMID HIS DEMENTIA DIAGNOSIS, AND HOW SHE AND THEIR DAUGHTERS ARE STAYING POSITIVE DESPITE THE ODDS.

IT was a welcome sight. On Oct. 28, actor Bruce Willis was photographed being driven around Studio City in L.A. with his bodyguard. Wearing a black L.A. Dodgers baseball cap, the 69-yearold Die Hard star-who's been suffering from frontotemporal dementia looked to be in good spirits as he peered out his open passengerside window and smiled.

For the past few years, life has been exceptionally challenging for the actor and his loved ones, including his wife of 15 years, Emma Heming, their two daughters, Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, as well as his older children, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and 30-year-old Tallulah, his daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore. His devastated family revealed his FTD diagnosis in February 2023; the rare and incurable disease affects language and motor skills. In a heartbreaking new interview with Town & Country magazine, Emma, 46, says she's doing her best to remain upbeat as she supports Bruce and their two young children. "I'm trying to find that balance between the grief and the sadness that I feel which can just crack open at any given moment," she says.

"And finding joy."
