IT was a sweet family moment captured by mom and posted on Instagram: A dad carefully trims his son’s hair as another son looks on. But this barber/dad was none other than Matthew McConaughey, an Oscar winner worth a cool $160 million. “Matt’s been cutting the kids’ hair since they were little and sees no reason to change,” an insider tells Star. “He’s a person who doesn’t believe in throwing money around. He cuts his own hair too!”
Such down-to-earth scenes are par for the 53-year-old, who lives outside the Hollywood glare in Austin, Texas, with wife Camila Alves, 40, and kids Levi, 14, Vida, 13, and 10-year-old Livingston. “They’re homebodies and are very content with their lives and love being a family,” notes the insider. “They’re not into the celebrity thing.”
