Wearing dark glasses with her trademark blond locks tucked into a baseball cap, the 47-year-old was dressed down in athleisure as she made a quick phone call before being joined by a friend. Her wedding and engagement rings? Nowhere to be found.
Single life seems to agree with her. Just the day before, the Morning Show star officially filed for divorce from husband of 11 years Jim Toth in Davidson County, Tenn., citing "irreconcilable differences." The Oscar winner, who shares son Tennessee, 10, with the talent agent, asked the court to appoint both parents as joint custodians and indicated that they have a prenup. Though the pair called ending their marriage a "difficult decision" in their March 31 announcement, an insider tells Star that Reese is ready to move on. "She's relieved it's over," says the source. "She's a strong person and she can get through this."
