The cries of Bennifer fans can be heard around the world as the once-golden couple has officially called it quits... again. Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20, the two-year anniversary of their lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia.

Lopez is said to be "very disappointed and sad" about the situation, a source told People. "But Ben hasn't given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage.

He hasn't shown any commitment and interest in making their marriage work. It's gotten to the point that she just needs to look out for herself," they continued. Another source told the magazine that Lopez's decision to file papers on their anniversary "speaks a ton".

This legal step comes after months of speculation that the couple's marriage had soured. They sold their marital home in Beverly Hills and Affleck quickly purchased his own place. Lopez has also been spotted house hunting recently.
