THESE OLD PALS GET TOGETHER FOR A PROJECT THAT'S BRINGING THEM JOY

Red carpets are certainly no new thing to DeborraLee Furness. She’s hit up some of the most world famous ones too, from the prestigious Oscars in Los Angeles to the super exclusive Met Gala in New York, but almost always on the arm of her recently estranged husband, Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman.

But it was apparent as the now single actress, who last year announced her split from Jackman, 55, walked the black carpet on January 23 for the Sydney premiere of Force of Nature: The Dry 2 – her first major on-screen role in almost a decade – that this meant something special to her. She beamed from ear to ear, laughed, cracked jokes, waved to fans and chatted with media, looking in no rush to see the moment end.

“Look at the backdrop, look at the weather. I’m home in Australia seeing family and friends and sharing creativity in our community,” she shared with WHO. “It’s a beautiful experience. It was great to come back to work.”
