THE ACTRESS AND HER HUSBAND ARE FLEEING THE 'HOLLYWOOD CYCLE' FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR YOUNG SON

Once upon a time it was the place to be for people in the biz, but in recent times, Hollywood has lost its shine - and numerous celebrities are vacating showbusiness' epicentre for a more idyllic, low-key life.

Eva Longoria is the most recent evacuee, with an inside source telling Page Six that the 49-year-old and her Mexican businessman husband, José "Pepe" Bastón, 56, are relocating to Spain with their 5-year-old son, Santiago.

A source told the publication, "She'll be spending a ton of time there working for the second half of this year." And to seal the deal, she and Bastón have put their Los Angeles home on the market.

It appears their move to Europe has been on the cards for some time. Two decades ago, the Desperate Housewives star fell in love with Spain, after spending time there with her friend Melanie Griffiths.
