One day, he and his grandfather were watching the live telecast of the Asian Games on TV. While watching the game, Daddu saw the same sparkle in Arjun's eyes that he once had and knew that this boy, too, could become a good athlete. "Daddu, one day I too will participate in the Asian Games like these wonderful athletes," said Arjun, his face beaming with determination.
"Of course, my son! With hard work and dedication, you can achieve anything," replied Daddu, patting Arjun with pride.
From that day onwards, Arjun devoted himself to training as instructed by his Daddu. Every morning, before the sun rose, he would practise running.
He spent time practising various sports, from running and long jump to swimming and cycling.
"Now you should also participate in various competitions to build confidence by playing against other athletes," explained Daddu.
Following his Daddu's advice, Arjun participated in the annual sports competitions held at his school. He started participating in inter-school competitions and then in district-level competitions. With his dedication and hard work, he always did well.
As the years passed, Arjun's talent and dedication caught the attention of Coach Kumar, a renowned sports coach in his town. Impressed by Arjun's skills, Coach Kumar invited him to join his academy, where he trained young athletes to reach their full potential.
Arjun's heart started beating fast after receiving the invitation. His grandparents were also overjoyed to hear the news, as they knew that this was an important step towards fulfilling Arjun's dream of participating in the Asian Games.
At Coach Kumar's academy, Arjun's training began. The academy became his second home, and Coach Kumar became his mentor and guide.
With each passing day, Arjun became stronger and faster. He faced many challenges there, but he never gave up.
