Anyone who wants to take their A movie and music creation skills to the next level on iPad finally has the chance to do so - thanks to the launch of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro on the platform.
Long seen as the 'pro' versions of Apple apps iMovie and GarageBand, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro have stubbornly remained available only on the Mac, much to the frustration of iPad users - iPad Pro users in particular.
While Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro cost £299.99 and £199.99 respectively on the Mac, Apple has chosen to price the iPad versions differently with each app costing just £4.99/ month or £49/year with one-month free trials available. Surprisingly neither app locks you into a minimum subscription period like some rivals do (we're looking at you, Adobe), meaning you have the freedom to start (or stop) using Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad at any time.
