Deciding to get involved in a romantic relationship is often the easy part; trying to actually make things work is the challenging bit. In order to have a healthy equation, you and your partner need tons of healthy habits, which are essential for a loving bond.
Here are tips to improve your current relationship
Appreciate
Staying in love and staying close is quite different from expressing love for your significant other. When you're in a relationship, it's easy to get comfortable and stop showing your loved one how much they mean to you. The secret is appreciation (which goes both ways). Value them without expecting anything in return, and you'll see your relationship grow stronger. Show gratitude and appreciation every day in order to keep those feelings alive.
Accept Flaws
Nobody's perfect, not you and certainly not your partner, and that's absolutely fine. If you want to have a happy, lasting relationship with them, it isn't enough to love the things about them that are great, but accept their flaws and the things about them that drive you nuts too, or else those issues just might threaten your relationship.
