NEEDING TO MOVE HOUSES ON A REGULAR basis due to her father's job in government service, Mumbai/Pune artist Rushaki re-calls that she first fell in love with music after being gifted a small Casio piano for Christmas in 2005.
"That's when I started self-learning tunes and started making tunes," she says. After dabbling with music in different capacities, including as an assistant manager at a venue in Pune in 2017 and also performing at events, Rushaki found herself involved with indie-rock outfit Coffee for Giraffes. With a ton of experience now under her belt, the artist has released her 10-track debut album, She Speaks.
