If you’re a fan of Welsh noir crime dramas like Craith (Hidden) and Y Gwyll (Hinterland), you won’t want to miss this intriguing murdermystery starring Elen Rhys and Richard Harrington and set during a wild winter in Pembrokeshire.
The Welsh-language six-parter begins when DI Ffion Lloyd (Rhys) is called back from Cardiff to the coastal town of Pembroke Dock to investigate the murder of a young woman that bears eerie similarities to a series of killings from the community’s tortured past.
‘The people of Pembroke Dock are still haunted by echoes of the Heart Knot Murders, which happened 12 years ago,’ explains Rhys, 41. ‘The locals are terrified when the memory of that is dredged up – especially as the town is faced with the unsettling prospect that they might have convicted the wrong man.’
