Emmy-winning screenwriter Damon Lindelof has already scored two huge TV hits with Lost and The Leftovers, and this week his latest high-concept series comes to ITVX - the weird and wonderful Mrs. Davis.
In the eight-part sci-fi comedy adventure, Betty Gilpin plays Sister Simone, a horse-riding vigilante nun, who becomes apoplectic when her Mother Superior, played by Margo Martindale, announces that the convent has been sold and the nuns are to be relocated. Simone's convinced that their predicament is the fault of an omnipresent artificial intelligence superbeing known as Mrs Davis, so she sets off on a quest to destroy it.
