‘Prison is the worst place for Jasper,’ says Ben Miller, 58, who plays the academic. ‘He likes a very ordered world in his ivory tower – so to be thrown in a cell that he’s got to share with another human being is not his favourite thing. Shocking hygiene, terrible food – it’s a real struggle.’
