Holliday Grainger returns for more high-tech intrigue

The first run of BBC1 thriller The Capture drew viewers into a sinister world of corruption, fake news and surveillance, where nothing was as it seemed.

It centred on cop Rachel Carey, played by Holliday Grainger, as she fought to expose the shady work of the ‘Correction’ intelligence unit, who manipulated CCTV and faked events in the name of national security.

Now, as the twisty series returns for a six-part run, Carey has been promoted to DCI and is working in the morally ambiguous department.
