And while the rise of his co-stars Ricky Gervais, Martin Freeman and Mackenzie Crook has been well documented, the gravel-voiced Yorkshireman, who stars in this week's film premiere To Catch a Killer, has also been busy carving out his own highly successful career in TV and film.
