NEW CRIME DRAMA
Midsomer Murders
Sunday, 8pm, ITV1
Nobody enjoys an inventive Midsomer Murders killing more than Neil Dudgeon, who plays DCI John Barnaby. Over his 14 years on the show, the actor's favourite deaths include a man covered in truffle oil and eaten by a wild boar, and a victim who was turned into a giant human candle encased in wax.
So it's no wonder Dudgeon is delighted that the cosy crime drama is back on our screens this week, with a new episode featuring a typically outlandish crime.
