Laurel is held captive by Marshall’s manic father, Colin

Jai leaves the village for India, to attend Rishi’s funeral, but as the businessman braces himself for a difficult trip, little does he know that wife Laurel has landed in hell. What she thinks will be a quick visit to former lodger Marshall’s family home becomes a living nightmare as she’s taken hostage by the lad’s homophobic dad, Colin.

Laurel originally planned to accompany Jai, along with his son Archie, but the couple decided the schoolboy should remain at home, with Laurel to support him. Shortly after Jai’s solo departure, however, Nicola points out to her pal that the grieving businessman may be fragile.
