MARY MAKES CHRISTMAS
WEDNESDAY, 8PM, BBC1 COOKERY
It is the season of giving, which is why Dame Mary Berry is looking forward to showcasing a collection of homemade treats that would make perfect presents in her new seasonal special on BBC1.
‘There’s nothing better than a gift made with love,’ smiles the queen of cakes, 89, who in Mary Makes Christmas heads to scenic Rye in East Sussex to inspire us with fab-Yule-ous ideas, such as delicious chutneys and clementine crème brûlée, to help us impress our family and friends.
Along the way, she’s joined by Amanda Holden, Oti Mabuse and Nick Grimshaw, who will lend a hand with the cooking before sharing their efforts with local shanty singers, wild-sea swimmers and RNLI volunteers.
Here, Mary tells us more…
