FOR a while it all seemed so perfect. Brooklyn Beckham fitted in seamlessly with actress Nicola Peltz's filthy rich family and Victoria and David seemed to adore their future daughter-in-law.

Nicola would gush over Posh's designs and hang out with Brooklyn's little sis, Harper, calling her "my baby sister". Posh seemed delighted with her eldest's son choice.

Then came the fairytale wedding, a no-expenses-spared extravaganza at the Florida home of Nicola's fabulously wealthy parents. Both families came together to celebrate the beginning of the young couple's happily-ever-after...

But, oh, how the illusion has shattered. Victoria - one of the most prolific social media posters and commentators hasn't reacted to a single one of her daughter-in-law's posts since May.

In 2021 Posh liked 25 of Nicola's Instagram posts in a three-month period and Nicola liked 20 of Victoria's in return. Now it's radio silence from both as a seething feud bubbles and boils.

Latest case in point: Brooklyn and Nicola's joint cover shoot for Vogue Hong Kong. Victoria tagged an image from the shoot, saying she was "so proud" and tagged her boy. Nicola? Not a mention. She didn't even click like on the cover featuring the couple together.

Victoria is said to be distraught about the impact her standoff with Nicola is having on her relationship with her child.

"She always relied on Brooklyn for support while David travelled the world," an insider says. "They were inseparable. But this is driving a wedge between them now." Here's what's been going down.
