Nestled within the esteemed neighbourhood of Taman U-Thant, LYLA Beauty Lounge offers a retreat from the hustling and bustling city, right in the heart of it all. Upon stepping in, I felt transported to a little island paradise. The calming glow, airy curtains, earthy-creamy palette, lush view, mosaic and rattan details all came together to evoke the tranquillity and vitality of Bali — a destination dear to Hui Jean, the founder of LYLA.
THE PHILOSOPHY
“LYLA is short for ‘Love Yourself, Love Always’, a message and reminder to make time for ourselves,” said Hui Jean, sharing what inspired the sanctuary. “Here, everything is safe and non-invasive. We prioritise using natural ingredients whenever possible.” This philosophy guides the curation of LYLA’s holistic menu which encompasses nails, brows, lashes and body treatments, with facials coming very soon.
