Sorbets' have been existent for ages, but have kept a low profile all this while unlike cousin Ice cream and Gelato. Sorbet' aka 'Sorbeto' is a frozen dessert made from iced fruit puree and other ingredients. The term Sorbet is derived from Turkish word for sherbet, which in turn comes from Arabic.
