Describe your typical Christmas.
At home with family. We have roast goose now-we had it for the first time two years ago and my two sons (18 and 25 years) loved it, so now it is the tradition. I like that about Christmas: the continuity. I tend not to do anything exotic and embrace the tradition. There are no pomegranate seeds in our Brussels sprouts!
Do you cook in advance and pop things in the freezer?
I am not a freezer person at all; it's just full of chicken stock. I make some things, such as gravadlax, every year. You can make it three or four days in advance.
