• It's time to spring clean. Edit unwanted stuff, and refresh your interiors. No need to paint the whole house. Highlight accent walls with paint, wallpaper, or simple acrylic colour in your favourite shade.

• Try stencilling or decoupage around areas that are weathered. For example: Spaces around switchboards, doors, cabinet fronts, or drawers.
• For book racks, try colourblocking your books on each shelf. Put all the books of the same colour on each shelf and play with the styling, intersperse with objects, memorabilia, or photo frames.
• Colour-blocking works fabulously in wardrobes as well. It's such a delight to open a cupboard and browse colour-wise.
