WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I had a beat-up Luminox timepiece because I read that they were issued to Navy SEALs and I wanted to be just like them. While I’m more into desk diving than going on underwater missions now that those rugged dreams have died a watery death, I’ve always admired the brand. So, I looked forward to the watchmaker’s 35th anniversary with bated breath. It didn’t disappoint.
Crystal Time, which distributes Luminox in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei, created a special timepiece to commemorate this milestone. The Luminox Wave Crest Limited Edition features a wave-patterned dial design and the phrase “Every Second Counts” between 12 and three o’clock.
