FIRST LAUNCHED IN 2017, the Omega Speedmaster 38mm collection offered fans a luxurious take on the chronograph’s unmistakable look. Especially popular was the Speedmaster 38mm “Cappuccino” in 18K Sedna Gold, featuring horizontal brown oval sub-dials and a vertical oval date window at 6 o’clock—a design inspired by the oval sub-dials featured on De Ville timepieces of the past.
In 2024, Omega expanded the collection to include eight new models with the aim of turning heads by emphasising the luxe factor, with fully polished cases and sparkling diamond-paved bezels: two in 18k Sedna Gold, two in 18K Moonshine Gold, and four in classic stainless steel with a choice of two striking dial colours. In addition to a diamond-paved bezel, measured at approximately 1.5 carats, each watch features three diamond-ringed subdials. Of course, even with their generous paving of precious stones, the watches remain Speedmaster to the core. For the dials, Omega took their cues from the look of legacy models, such as the green dial of the 42mm Moonwatch in Moonshine Gold and the brown dial of the De Ville Chocolate, which was a great success a few years ago.
