IN AN ODE TO WRITING, Montblanc continued its ongoing campaign, The Library Spirit: Episodes From Around The World, with its latest instalment held at Shanghai’s Sunke Villa this past August.
The occasion was graced by a guest list that included Montblanc’s global brand ambassador and campaign protagonist, Jing Boran, along with brand ambassador Xin Zhilei, CEO Nicolas Baretzki, and artistic director Marco Tomasetta. Singaporean friend of the brand, Xu Bin, was also in attendance, adding to the event’s international flair.
Montblanc has long been an advocate for the art of writing, and this latest chapter in their campaign was no exception. The event was curated to place the written word at the centre of the experience.
Guests were invited to bring along their favourite books, creating an atmosphere ripe for the appreciation of literature. They were then asked to exchange their chosen books for a new literary treasure.
Further elevating the experience were the stations set up for guests to explore Montblanc’s extensive range of writing instruments. The stage was adorned with books suspended in the air, serving as a stunning backdrop that underscored the event’s focus on writing and literature.
The evening also marked the unveiling of the expanded Montblanc Extreme 3.0 collection, featuring new pieces in striking fern blue hues. This was complemented by musical performances by Tim Zhang gracing the piano and Gu Lisha on the violin.
At its core, the event carried the essence of The Library Spirit, a tribute to the wealth of knowledge and diverse cultures that reside in the libraries of cities around the world.
