Born and raised in a middle-class family in Delhi, Raashii Khanna graduated with an English (Hons) degree from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College. It was at a college festival that she caught the attention of a prominent modeling agency, which ultimately led to her being cast opposite John Abraham in Madras Café. Despite her success, Raashii initially had reservations about pursuing acting as a career as she aspired to join the Indian Administrative Services and serve her country. But as luck had it, she made a stupendous debut in the Telugu film industry. Her debut film was a super hit, and there has been no looking back since. From a dream debut to a dream run with films opposite iconic actors like Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi & Mohanlal, she had it all in the first decade of her cinematic career.
