Summer is never on time, it's uncomfortably early and almost always lasts for just too long. Maybe people in the Arctic circle have never experienced this or considered it a problem, but in the part of the world we all live, summer is a scorcher and the only respite we have is - no, wait, there is no respite. We just grin and bear it.
But perhaps we can bear it in style, which is what this little guide for the season is all about. It will tell you the best way to shade your peepers, the most attractive scents to sport, and finally the ultimate sports gear for your fitness routine.
PROTECT YOUR EYES
Did you know the sun shines brighter than 5 million bulbs all shining at the same time in a space no larger than your bathroom? Well I am not so sure either (probably because I just made that fact up) yet I don’t think I am that far off the mark. Regardless, the fact remains that my baby blues (actually browns) are super photo-sensitive; just opening the fridge at midnight makes me squint. So, you can well imagine just how seriously I pick my shades if I have to be out in the sun. Here are my five choices for the best eyewear this season:
• Prada: The trending sunglasses design this season isn’t the aviator but a retro-rectangular form, which may not seem extremely functional but is every bit fancy and frivolously fun. Prada has aced it, Off-White wasn’t too far behind and they are soon being joined by other brands aping this classic shape.
