Life is serving Lleyton Hewitt an unexpected drop shot, with it suddenly hitting the tennis champ that his eldest daughter Mia is all grown up.

It seems like yesterday that Mia, the first of Lleyton's three kids with wife Bec, was toddling around after her dad on the practice courts or at the Logies wearing a matching dress to her mum! But the 18-year-old is now entering an exciting new phase of her adult life, which includes a blossoming romance, and it's got her famous father feeling terribly nostalgic.

However, we're told that Bec, 40, is urging Lleyton not to dwell on the past, but rather look to the future and what lies ahead for their tight-knit family.

In the last few years, Lleyton, 42, has been laser-focused on his son Cruz's own tennis career. While Cruz has a coach, Lleyton is very hands-on, admitting last week, "I probably know him better than anyone and his game style".
