When Nat Barr was pregnant with her first child, she tragically lost her 61-year-old father Jim to heart disease.

More than two decades have passed since Jim’s death, but Nat’s grief is still quite raw. The Sunrise host, 55, says she gets “upset” when talking about him, especially around this time of year, when Father’s Day celebrations are getting into full swing.

In fact, speaking on Mamamia’s No Filter podcast last week, Nat admitted she struggles to report on Father’s Day stories without breaking into tears.
