It’s every parent’s worst nightmare. Losing a young child, even briefly, ignites a panic like no other. Last week, Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic experienced that torment when their adorable four-year-old daughter, Harper, went missing at their lavish Noosa holiday home on Queensland’s Sunshine Beach.

“We feared the absolute worst because no-one could find her,” an emotional Karl, 50, told the Daily Telegraph after the drama unfolded on December 18. “I called the police because she couldn’t be found inside or around the house – and our priority is her safety.”
