Fore! CIMB Preferred recently hosted an invitation-only golf event at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club on 16 November 2023 aiming to celebrate the shared passion for golf as well as to showcase the CIMB Preferred’s holistic, luxurious, and personalised brand experience.

With the weather on CIMB’s side, during the four Qualifying Rounds, the event brought together 448 passionate golfers who all displayed exceptional talent, sportsmanship, and camaraderie throughout the CIMB Preferred Golf Series 2023. The format was the popular Texas Scramble System 36, with each team choosing their best drive from which to hit their next shot and continuing this until the ball was holed. There were also the on-course contests of Nearest-to-Pin, Longest Drive and Nearest-to-Line. The participants are a mixture of CIMB’s top-tier clients across key states along with a younger crowd—the next generation of friends who are new and existing clients of CIMB Preferred.
