CIMB Bank has had a rich history of hosting golf tournaments, previously with the CIMB Classic, which was an eagerly anticipated event on the golfing calendar. Of course, the sport is known for being one that allows for relationship-building among the wealthy, so CIMB curated a unique golfing experience for its Preferred clients-this time around embodying a more personalised and luxurious approach.
"We felt it was the right time to get back into golf in some way, but with a much more personal tone-a different and specifically curated asset to deliver a true 'client-first' event. With that as a starting point, we created the CIMB Preferred. Golf Series-a by-invitation-only event that we hope will be a fixture on the calendar for our select group of CIMB Preferred customers," shared Effendy Shahul Hamid, CIMB's Group Consumer and Digital Banking CEO.
