Louis Vuitton’s fifth high jewellery collection is an epic journey through the eons
Deep Time

Francesca Amfitheatrof often attributes the allure of jewellery to its natural form. When it comes to the world’s finest high jewellery, the most precious gemstones, drawn from the depths of the earth, stand as nature’s greatest treasures. Taking inspiration from the origins of geology, Amfitheatrof created 170 one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces to narrate a story spanning across time.

“We are as ever adventurers, travelling to extraordinary, unexpected places,” says Amfitheatrof, who is Louis Vuitton’s artistic director for watches and jewellery. “Deep Time will transport you deeply into the past, to a time and place that is so remote. The stones will bring you right there, to the beginning of the planet and into a history of the world and its mystical geological legacy.”

Embarking on an odyssey across the ages, Deep Time unveils its jewels through two themes: Geology and Life. The collection encompasses a total of 16 themes, with the debut of the first chapter featuring 13 themes.
