1 DUNLOP STRING LAB NICKEL WOUND
As well as making picks and more than a few iconic pedals, Jim Dunlop has over 50 years under its string-making belt. Its Nickel Wound series offers a straightforward, reliable string set boasting “crisp highs, aggressive mids and focused low-end” that works well for a range of styles. They start with gauges as light as 0.007 to 0.038 and extend to heavy 0.013 to 0.056, with plenty of custom gauge options in between.
