NOW GET READY FOR PHASE TWO

NORTHERN PREMIER LGE

Created from the ashes of former FA Trophy winners North Ferriby United, the Yorkshire side have secured two promotions since starting life in Step 6 in 2019.

Now, Bolder says the initial journey of redemption is as good as complete, but the hardest work is yet to come.

“I think that Northern Premier League structure was always quite a big overhanging target to initially strive for,” he told The NLP.

“The danger with a Phoenix club is people think you are going to breeze through the lower leagues, but the reality is honestly far, far harder.

“That initial chapter was always going to be tough because there’s that feeling of pressure. Now we are almost back to where the original club was when it folded so the outlook is a bit different.
