Carnduff has won 11 U20 caps and follows in the footsteps of his club teammates Lewis Chessum, Emeka Ilione and Jack van Poortvliet in leading the U20s into Six Nations battle.
Harlequins prop Fin Baxter (2022) is the only non-Leicester player to captain the side in the past five years and Carnduff enjoyed picking the brains of his fellow leaders at Tigers ahead of England’s tournament opener against Italy last Friday.
