In blustery conditions, kicked-off Chinnor against the wind and a hanging George Worboys was pressurised start by Conor-Terrah Brocksmidt.
Robin Hardwick scooped up the loose ball and charged into the 22 before offloading to a turbo-charged Will Ryan who powered over with several defenders hanging off him. Worboys converted.
Both teams struggled with the conditions as although they looked to play adventurous rugby, the wind interfered with some passing.
After 19 minutes, Worboys pinned Lions into their 22 and, after an Oliver Curry catch, Alun Walker peeled off and fed Charles James-Carter with a clever offload, and the superb nine scooted over under the posts.
