With frequent updates by the education department, parents are facing challenges keeping up with the government's efforts to digitise the education system. Following the e-KYC process in state schools, the new task of creating the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR ID) has added more chores for parents, who must submit their children's documents to schools.
The teachers of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools across the state were tasked with the e-KYC process of students before Diwali.
Now, teachers are again tasked with generating an APAAR ID for students, leading to difficulties in collecting the proper documents.
Recently, Education Minister Kuber Dindor noted that the implementation of the APAAR ID policy has created challenges for students and parents.
