Not even in her wildest imagination did 20-year-old Kranti Gagdekar see herself sketching for an institution as big as Netflix India. The streaming platform selected this young artist from Ahmedabad to sketch five 'Frames of Love' for their future promotional activities.
The young girl is part of several Ahmedabad and India-centric groups where she would receive artistic gigs, commissioned work or freelance work - which may or may not include pay. It was one such freelance assignment she bagged.
"Over a month back, I had approached someone who had announced a call for artists for a gig. But that didn't work out.
