A cruise service spanning 120 km on the Narmada River, also known as Reva, linking the Statue of Unity with the renowned Jyotirlinga site of Omkareshwar, is set to kick off soon. The initiative aims to boost tourism and kick off inland water transport between the two states. The project, under the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), has received an initial allocation of Rs 1.16 crore, with an additional Rs 61 crore planned for various infrastructure developments.
