As the festive season gets underway and gold prices reach an all-time high, exceeding Rs 80,600 per 10 grams, sales revenue is expected to surpass last year's figures. However, the actual volume of gold sold is likely to be lower than last Diwali.

Experts predict that due to the recent surge in gold and silver prices, with silver crossing Rs 1 lakh per kg, overall sales revenue for both metals will likely increase by 30%. However, the quantity of gold sold is anticipated to be around 30% lower.
